Biography

Attorney William Mayer graduated law school from the University of Nebraska in 1992 and has since devoted the entirety of his practice to representing individuals and juveniles charged with criminal offenses.  He regularly works on matters ranging from traffic offenses and drunk driving cases to drug, sex crime, and domestic incidents.   Attorney Mayer knows that being charged with a criminal offense is a very serious and difficult time in your life.  His patience, understanding, and expansive knowledge of the legal system will put you at ease.  His singular goal over the course of his twenty plus year legal career is to have a satisfied client. 

Attorney Mayer has vast trial experience having completed hundreds of jury trials.  He has won numerous verdicts on allegations of sexual assault, felony physical assault, drunk driving, and several other types of cases.  Attorney Mayer's hard work and vigorous defense of his clients has also been recognized by his peers whom awarded him the prestigious Hanson Memorial Advocates Prize.  The Advocate's Prize is only awarded to those practitioners who have accomplished the rare and difficult task of winning a criminal homicide case.   Attorney Mayer is also a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
