Regardless of the unique details pertaining to your situation, you should carefully examine your options and understand the severity of drunk driving charges.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, you may face a number of different consequences if you are charged with drunk driving, depending on the details of your case. Furthermore, those charged with operating a vehicle while drunk may have to pay stiff fines and have their license revoked for a number of months.

However, the penalties can be even harsher for those who have been charged with drunk driving multiple times in the past or caused an accident while driving drunk that resulted in significant bodily harm or the loss of life.
